About The Role

Mitre is part of the Nisbets group of businesses that is based in Merthyr Tydfil. During the last 2 years Mitre has shown it's ability to adapt to challenging market conditions and continue deliver to their customers. Over the next 3 years Mitre has seen new market opportunities and areas for the business to continue growing. In order to do this, Mitre is currently looking for a Project Coordinator to play a key part in the business strategy moving forward. 

As part of our continued growth, our Mitre business is currently looking for a Project Coordinator to manage and lead soft furnishings projects, ready made order processes and purchasing orders. You will be responsible for collaborating with multiple areas of the Mitre business as you ensure the delivery of all projects according to cost and time frames given. In this role you will develop an appreciation for shop floor product manufacturing complexities and soft furnishings office practices and how to deliver cost effective projects. 
 
Hours of work: 20-40 (Part Time or Full Time
 
What will I be doing as a Project Coordinator? 
  • Quote projects by inputting the required data into the soft furnishings software quotation system.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute customer’s soft furnishings projects from both customer & Sales Team information.
  • Raising of Supplier Purchase Orders to fulfil Project Requirements and Web/Sales Office Orders.
  • Liaise with suppliers the various project/ Sales items deliveries.
  • Develop an appreciation for shop floor product manufacturing complexities and soft furnishings office practices to develop cost effective projects.
  • Input of sales orders onto Dynamics.

About You

What are we looking for in a Project Coordinator?
  • Ability to work independently with very good organisational skills.
  • Excellent numeracy skills 
  • Strong communicator both verbally and written. 
  • Knowledge of textiles and fabrics advantageous although not essential.
