About The Role

As a result of excellent trading results we need to bolster the team further and are looking for customer focused and inquisitive IT Service Desk Analyst, to join our IT Service Delivery Team in Bristol to support the delivery of a stable and compliant service to end-users. As out IT Service Desk Analyst you will play a vital role in keeping our end users up and running and helping them to trouble shoot IT problems. We need people with a pragmatic approach to problem solving who can put themselves in the shoes of their customer. You will join a close knit and supportive team and can expect to be exposed to some interesting and challenging work.  We are happy to support your development as an IT Service Desk Analyst, you just need to bring drive and enthusiasm and a naturally inquisitive approach to Technology.

Your working on a Monday to Friday on a rotational weekly shift pattern including 8am – 4:45pm, 8:30am – 5:15pm & 8:45am – 17:30pm shifts, with some on call requirement. A car driver will be required to enable visits to other sites in the area, as required. 

What will I be doing as an IT Service Desk Analyst?

  • Provide appropriate technical support for hardware, software and networks across the business
  • Work with internal colleagues and third parties in order to deliver technical services, ensuring established service levels are adhered to at all times
  • Use automation wherever possible to build or improve existing technical capabilities, driving down the rate of BAU IT operations
  • Delivery of exceptional service to all users of IT, within a structured IT environment aligned to industry standard frameworks (ITIL Framework)
  • Focus on solving customer’s problems, striving to continuously better understand our internal customer’s needs
  • Be aware of the key IT and cyber risks, proactively operating to minimise these risks within the remit of the role, acting quickly to notify of any potential or identified IT risks through the appropriate incidents and escalations process

About You

What are we looking for in an IT Service Desk Analyst?

  • A basic level of knowledge and understanding of VMware-based Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (View, vCentre, vSphere)
  • Experience with supporting the full suite of office 365 
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Strong problem solving focus, to provide exceptional service delivery to all the end users
