About The Role

Working within our IT Helpdesk team your role will be to troubleshoot and resolve issues using the IT Service Desk workflow, completing requests within stated SLAs and work logs.  You will also deliver robust technical solutions, supporting all in-house hardware and systems.

Other aspects of the position will include - 
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues as reported while ensuring that a high level of customer service is maintained.
  • Fault-finding on hardware, applications and software as well as reviewing system health logs, website alerts and antivirus logs.
  • Resolving issues within agreed SLAs or escalating to Senior IT team members where necessary.
  • Liaise with external suppliers to ensure the smooth resolution of issues where appropriate
  • Availability to work Shifts as stated by the IT Service Delivery Manager
  • Participating in the Out of Hours Rota 

About You

 To apply for this role you will have previous experience from within a similar role and have the ability to successfully manage your time and be able to prioritise requests based on urgency and importance.  You will be customer service focused with strong verbal and written communication skills as well as being team orientated with a desire to help co-workers, customers and departments with technical problems.  

Any real world and hands on experience using the following technologies will differentiate candidates - 
Windows 10, Office 365, Active Directory, Citrix XenApp, Forcepoint, Avaya Aura, Windows Server 2016, VMWare 6.7
