About The Role

We are looking to recruit a new member to join our busy Credit Control team in Avonmouth.  In the role you will have responsibility for an allotted section of customers and you will accurately maintain that section.  The role will be varied and will include chasing overdue debt, reviewing credit limits and releasing customer orders where possible. 

Other aspects of the role will include; ensuring that any customer that hits their previously agreed credit limit is escalated to the team leader for review, and that it is actioned within our next day KPI. Ensuring that all customer accounts are kept up to date, keeping all funds allocated in accordance with the customer’s wishes is a key part of the role.  It is a busy, high volume department which will involve outbound calls to customers where overdue balances exist.   

About You

To apply for this role you will have previous credit control experience ideally from within a high volume environment.  Key skills required for the role include an excellent and professional telephone manner, strong numerical skills, tenacity and excel skills. You will also be able to multi-task with the ability to successfully prioritise your workload.  A proven track record of debt collection, the ability to foster good relationships with both Customers and Colleagues is essential.
