About The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Forecasting Analyst to join Nisbets on a fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave until October 2021. 

There is flexibility for this role to be offered on a remote working basis if required, although there is the option to come in to the office if preferred. 
 
Working as part of a small friendly team of fellow colleagues, you will complete all aspects of forecast reviews to deliver availability targets. 

Key accountabilities are;

  • Calculate weekly supplier orders for delivery into the business.
  • Ensure filters and ranges are maintained allowing targeted forecast reviews by exception.
  • New Line and Promotional Planning Forecasts to be reviewed and maintained.
  • Managing requests from internal departments. Maintaining links with key contacts across the company
  • Dealing with inventory queries.
  • Ensuring key daily, weekly and monthly scheduled tasks are completed on time.
  • To undertake additional customer / business activities as directed.
 

About You

 To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • Ideally you will have inventory forecasting experience, gained within fast-moving multi SKU environment.
  • Microsoft Office Skills- Intermediate to Advanced
  • Good understanding of ERP systems gained through use and experience.
  • Understand relationships between supplier performance, lead time, inventory level and availability.
  • Experience of long lead time supply chains beneficial, typically in excess of 10 - 17 weeks lead times.
  • Good communication skills for both written and verbal correspondence.
  • Have the ability to react to and prioritise work load depending on the needs of the business.
