About The Role

Following a reorganisation of our Regional Sales team, Nisbets are changing to a Regional Operating Model which brings our Field Sales and stores closer together, working under a Regional Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Regional Manager to assume overall responsibility for the success of the London Region. You will be responsible for leading and driving sales revenue whilst maximising profitability and delivering the Business Sales & Retail strategy. 

The role will require you to:

  • Carry out the day to day management of a busy field sales team and a number of Store Managers
  • Deliver the Nisbets culture aspiration and manage targets in line with the business strategy.
  • Integrate all processes such as Sales I, Open Quotes, Smart reach etc. whilst maximising all opportunities wherever possible.
  • Collaborate with other regions to drive consistency sharing best practice.
  • Work holistically across all channels, including Internal Sales, Marketing and Sales Operations

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Take full accountability for the achievement of all regional targets and initiatives, working within agreed budgets.
  • Delivery of revenue budget across all channels including national, regional and digital
  • Ensure journey plans are in place and utilised by the field team delivering 100% follow up of all opportunities
  • Work closely with the internal sales team to create a process ensuring all referred leads are managed
  • Create a disciplined cadence to monitor and drive daily sales via Quote log, outbound calls, conversion etc.
  • Build relationships through personal visits and contact with high potential customers and prospects as necessary
  • Help create monthly and annual targets for sales and retail teams, with bespoke activity KPI’s in place for all
  • Carry out field accompaniments and store assessments, to formally assess and set improvement targets
  • Performance manage all identified issues ensuring team adheres strictly to required ways of working and reporting
  • Conduct monthly 1-2-1 meetings with each team member and conduct formal appraisals as required
  • Ensure full delivery of the regional promotional programme across all stores and customers via all channels.
  • Ensure full delivery of the sales operations program for retail stores
  • Prepare & run regional meetings as required to deliver the Regional sales strategy

About You

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Minimum 2 years’ Field Sales Management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Field Sales / National Account management / Retail Sales
  • Sales industry experience, ideally with a career background in catering or FMCG industries
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Good level of education, Degree, A-Levels, GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English (above average level of Numeracy & Literacy)
  • Formal sales training is highly desirable
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Analytical approach to business along with an eye for detail & ability to transfer ideas into reality
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Good command of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, P/P, Outlook);
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • As this is a field based role a full UK Driver’s license is required
