About The Role

Nisbets are currently looking to recruit a number of Administrators to join our Operations Department.

The main purpose of these roles is to provide Administrative support to
the warehouses. The role requires communicating and working with all corners of the business and undertake a wide variety of operational, people and sales administration tasks. These are permanent roles joining an established team, who work hard supporting the warehouse operation.

We have up to 5 roles available offering different shift patterns (see below) and you would be based at one of two locations within the Avonmouth estate (Access 18 or Head Office, Fourth Way).  

3 roles: 08:00 – 17:00

1 role: 10:00 – 19:00  (with flexibility to cover hours of 12:00 – 21:00 for any absence)

1 role: 12:00 – 21:00

Key Accountabilities:

  • Producing and communicating daily and weekly KPI sheets
  • Running  any relevant reports and act on their results – Failures, OA, Stock investigation, stock checks etc
  • Assisting with Despatch administration -  chasing orders, checking all outstanding both  unprinted and not despatched, answer calls from internal customers and deal with orders general enquiries
  • Ensuring stock integrity through perpetual inventory counts and investigations completed in full on these
  • People paperwork:  reporting, chasing and ensure key documents for colleagues are completed by the Management teams
  • Covering general office duties, scanning, filing and answering incoming calls
  • Controlling own areas of the warehouse, giving the management team a hand when needed
  • Keeping the work area clean and tidy so as to confirm to all H & S regulations
  • Resolving queries raised by customer services regarding despatching orders.

About You

To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent computer skills including Excel and Word
  • Good standard of written and spoken English
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, multi-task and be flexible to changing admin tasks
  • Maginus system knowledge (advantageous)
  • Works efficiently and accurately, even when under pressure
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
