About The Role

Nisbets are currently looking to recruit a Carrier Administrator to join a small, established and friendly team within the Operations Department.

This is a permanent role to provide front line support to the carrier team’s customers both internal and external via telephone, e-mail and the Maginus QMS system. The role will also require you to assist with reporting and day to day administration tasks, as well as project work from time to time.

Key accountabilities:
  • Ensure that all calls both internal and external are answered quickly and efficiently.
  • Deal with queries received via e-mail and over the phone.
  • Aim to resolve all delivery issues asap for our customers to ensure they receive the best service possible.
  • Liaise directly with our delivery partners to ensure deliveries are made without issue and that any problems identified are quickly resolved.
  • Arrange Sameday deliveries as and when required.
  • Arrange dedicated/ad-hoc deliveries as and when required.
  • Check and analyse invoices raising queries with the appropriate carriers when required.
  • Manage the claims process with the various carriers used across the UK and Ireland.
  • Support retail replenishment queries relating to the above headings.
  • Support the procurement team with assessment of new products.
  • Support the operations team and carriers with queries relating to customs clearance
  • Manage the admin associated with the operators license and drivers.
  • Other adhoc work as and when required by the Transport Manager

About You

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Previous administration experience 
  • Maginus QMS Systems knowledge (advantageous)
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Self Motivated and determined 
  • Customer focused approach
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent listening Skills 
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
