We are seeking a Supply Chain and Operations Planner who will be responsible for collating data required from each of the business functions to produce clear reports for all our global businesses located in UK, EU, Ireland and ANZ.  These reports will be clear and help lead Nisbets to make data informed decisions regarding product procurement, international direct shipments and warehouse capacities. This is a fast paced role where you will be challenged daily to respond to changes in market conditions, so you will really develop your problem solving skills and innovative approach. It's a great team who are passionate about what they do and their natural energy and enthusiasm is bound to rub off on you. This role will suit someone who currently works in distribution or retail and has a good understanding of stock control and movements on a large scale. 

What will I be doing? 
  • Extract data from all current data points to support the sales and operations planning process
  • Create reports to support data lead decision making 
  • Warehouse capacity modelling at global and regional level
  • Highlight any capacity issues both storage and throughput
  • Create data for final mile shipping that supports delivery promise across all channels and market segments
  • Work with other departments when necessary, to maintain good working practises within logistics, supply chain and countries to ensure data is an accurate reflection of what is happening in each region
  • Work with IT to develop a clear strategy for data capture and analysis automating manual extracts and data manipulation wherever possible
  • Work with the wider business to understand future sales and marketing strategy and adjust modelling accordingly
  • Proactively apply knowledge from your previous roles to continually improve reporting and analysis

About You

What do we need?
  • Able to prioritise and handle multiple tasks, delegating and problem solving as required
  • Strong Excel skills, adept at working with pivot tables and V Look Up's 
  • Adept at handling large sets of data and manipulating that data to produce reports
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and organisational skills
  • Experience of BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Zoho and Yellowfin is desirable but not essential
