Following a re-organisation of our Regional Sales team, Nisbets are changing to a Regional Operating Model which brings our Field Sales and stores closer together, working under a Regional Manager. This change has opened a number of Field Sales Manager vacancies across the UK including Norwich & Cambridge.

As well as working closely with the retail store in Brighton, the Field Sales Manager will support both national and regional account businesses and drive sales through all of our sales channels and our aim is to create an aligned, disciplined, multi-channel team, responsible for driving current portfolio, standard and retail revenue through all channels: digital, phone, and retail. 

What will I be doing?

  • Work across your geographical territory and manage a portfolio of customers to maximise revenue, share and profit. This could include individual accounts and groups.
  • Work collaboratively with each store to "Own the City" and optimise all Opportunities
  • Deliver customer activity plans
  • Achieve all sales, distribution and margin targets set by the Regional Manager
  • Implement Nisbets pricing strategy and work within company pricing
  • Focus on where a visit will yield the greatest benefit and financial return. Work with your IKAM to identify and win all large openings and refurbs.
  • Follow up, prospect and win all identified opportunities across your territory

Key accountabilities:

  • Achieve territory revenue and margin targets. Deliver the required KPI’s and service levels
  • Create and Deliver Journey & Territory Management Plans to hit budget
  • Plan diary to beat visit target and achieve all priorities and objectives
  • Work in a virtual team with an IKAM and Sales Support to optimise total area revenue
  • Share leads and customer contacts with the store – increase customer footfall in to store
  • Work with IKAM/Market Insight to develop prospect lists and win new to company business
  • Ownership of the delivery of project orders, openings and new accounts
  • Maintain and provide accurate reporting of weekly and monthly activity and use Sales I to log activity and customer detail after every meeting

About You

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience
  • Proven background of winning new business
  • Excellent Planning, organisational and communication skills
  • Sales skills – demonstration of sales process. Especially Questioning, closing and negotiation
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • General level of education, GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Good command of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, P/P, Outlook);
  • An eye for detail & able to transfer ideas into reality
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • As this is a field based role a full UK Driver’s License is required
