About The Role

 
To support our continued growth we are seeking a Mobile Refrigeration Engineer to join our growing team to service our range of customers; repairing and maintaining our capital equipment. You will provide technical support to the business and sub-contractor engineers as required. This will suit a Mobile Refrigeration Engineer who enjoys engaging with customers, investigating and solving faults which are not always instantly obvious. Given the area you are covering, we would expect you to be located in one of the following outer London postcode areas,
LU, AL,RG or OX.
 
Please note, you will need to hold a current F-Gas certificate in order to meet the requirements of the role.
 
What will I be doing as a Mobile Refrigeration Engineer?
  • Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration and electrical catering equipment
  • Liaise with customer’s on site and service administration teams
  • Acquire knowledge of and keep up-to-date with new products and product developments
  • Answer engineer/customer queries on the phone
  • Report product issues and liaise with QC/service manager on product improvement and safety issues.
  • Attend team meetings as required by the Service Manager
  • Keep accurate records, to include but not exclusively, vehicle mileage, daily time sheets, job reports and expenses
  • Maintain company vehicle, van stock, tooling, consumables.

About You

What are we looking for in a Mobile Refrigeration Engineer?
  • F-Gas Certification/City & Guild 2079
  • Electrical safety knowledge
  • Good diagnostic/problem and fault finding abilities.
  • Knowledge of white goods (home goods)
  • Good refrigeration knowledge
  • A customer service approach to your work
